168 hours spent in a glass cube. A performance stagging for ESC 2013 became a sensation

No exaggeration to say that the stage performance of the song «Hold me» prepared by the creative team of Euromedia Company left no one untouched in Eurovision 2013 as members of the jury and the audience of thousands of spectators.

The famous Greek choreographer and director Fokas Evangelinos gave the song special emotional and memorable characters.  He suggested that the original idea of ​​using a special formulation of props (transparent podium in parallelepiped form vertical 80x80 cm in width and 2 m in height), which moves inside acrobat.

An easy staging for perception, however, required a complicated preparation. To demonstrate the beauty of design director took reusable improving the design: 3 were established experimental models of the podium, as many rehearsals in Kiev and to identify new weaknesses he reworked, improved and was brought to a level of reliability of props that could demonstrate the maximum effect and the magic of staging idea.

Numerous rehearsals (a total of about 168 hours the dancer spent in the cube) helped to work out performance, synchronize sound and motion to the millisecond.
