Legends and Sensations of Eurovision

Objective

In 2008, Azerbaijan made its debut in the Eurovision International Song Contest. We faced the challenge to develop a set of actions to attract the attention to a debutant country.

Solution

EuroMedia developed the concept of a special event called Legends and Sensations of Eurovision. Outdoor concert show held at the foot of the Kalemegdan fortress in old part of Belgrade was attended by a number of the Eurovision Song Contest winners and performers of previous years. The artists who participated in the concert were winner of Eurovision 2007 Maria Serifovic, 2004 Ukrainian winner Ruslana, second place winner in 2004 Željko Joksimović from Serbia, 1998 Israeli winner Dana International, as well as representatives from debutant country Azerbaijan. The show was broadcasted by 9 TV channels in Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, and Azerbaijan. Responsibility

EuroMedia developed a creative concept of the show, organized the preparation to the concert and artists booking, and organized a multi-camera shooting and TV broadcasting.
